HVC Dordrecht 5th line

RG-projecten run the entire project development, tender and construction phase of the 5th incineration line of HVC Dordrecht. Specialists of RG-projecten and HVC formed a team that oversaw the construction. The team supervised that the new installation was implemented in a correct manner in the excisting installation and operation.

The fifth incineration line of HVC Dordrecht was a retrofit of the excisting installation, in which the incineration capacity was extended, the emissions were reduced and the overall efficiency of the plant was increased. Before the project could be executed, some units had to be relocated and modified.

The installation consisted of a incineration furnace of 75MWth (40 bar, 400 °C) with an incineration capacity of 240,000 tonne waste, a steam turbine with an electricity production of 32 MWe and the option to supply heat to local users (process heat and district heating).
